On September 11th at 12:00pm, Dr. Drake Williams will be presenting a Brown Bag Lunch at the Schwenkfelder Library and Heritage Center. The topic is George Weiss, Prayer, and Pietism. George Weiss was the first Schwenkfelder minister in America. His catechism records his thoughts about prayer, but this work is only recently being transcribed and translated. In this Brown Bag Lunch, we will look at the ideas in his catechism about prayer. We will also compare the themes to that of other German pietists.
